Villa Gobernador Gálvez is located in the south of the province of Santa Fe and is part of the Rosario Metropolitan Area (AMR), forming, along with other localities, the Metropolitan South Corridor. Its strategic location positions it as a linking node between the regional productive system and one of the most important port and logistics complexes in Latin America.

The city has excellent connectivity through the Rosario–Buenos Aires Highway, provincial routes Nº 21, 22, 24, and 25S, the Rosario Beltway, and freight railway lines, facilitating the transport of goods and services to the main markets.

Its proximity to the city of Rosario, its connection with the Paraná River, universities, technological centers, ports, and industrial parks creates favorable conditions for investment development, innovation, and public-private articulation.


Productive Profile

The city has a diversified economy with a strong industrial profile that positions it as one of the main productive poles in southern Santa Fe. Activities related to the food, refrigeration, metallurgical, auto parts, plastics, chemical, construction, and logistics industries are developed in the city, integrated into value chains of regional, national, and international scope.

It has an Official Industrial Area in operation and sectors designated for industrial expansion, favored by its strategic location and connectivity. The productive fabric is complemented by an important commercial and services sector, in addition to active peri-urban horticultural production and greenhouses that supply both the local market and the Rosario Metropolitan Area.
