"Esperanza Avanza. Production and innovation for a sustainable future"
46.753 hab. 287 km² Santa Fe
Esperanza is the First Organized Agricultural Colony in the Country, founded in 1856 by European immigrants who built a productive model based on work, cooperation, and coexistence. This legacy remains valid and constitutes one of its deepest differentiators.
Located in the heart of the province of Santa Fe, 35 km from Santa Fe capital, 240 km from Rosario, and 344 km from Córdoba, Esperanza has a strategic location in one of the country's main productive corridors. Its road connection through Provincial Routes N° 6 and N° 70 facilitates logistical integration with the country's major centers.
Currently, the city has a productive framework where primary activity is combined with the multiplier effect of a diverse industrial sector where the metal-mechanical (gas, oil, and mining, and specific equipment); chemical; timber and furniture; and agri-food sectors, among others, stand out.
The city seeks to complement this profile with the development of the knowledge economy by adding value to the aforementioned production chains, with ample potential at national and international levels.
In 2023, 21 local companies exported with a historical average of USD 257 million annually over the last 11 years. Exports per inhabitant reached USD 5,507, exceeding the provincial average (USD 3,997) by 38% and almost quadrupling the national average (USD 1,415).
Industries and sectors that Esperanza seeks to attract to its territory.
Esperanza is the city with the lowest municipal rates in the province of Santa Fe for most economic activities, according to the Municipal Tax Transparency Portal of the Province of Santa Fe.
The low local tax burden reduces fixed operating costs and improves return on investment from the first day of activity.
