Overview

Located in the Paravachasca Valley, in the north-central part of the Province of Córdoba, it is situated in the western sector of the province, strategically positioning itself as the gateway to the picturesque Paravachasca Valley.

The urban area is traversed by the Chicamtoltina Stream and its proximity to the Anisacate River, the main fluvial course of the region, located a few kilometers from the city.

In the heart of the urban center is the Tajamar, the oldest artificial dam in the province of Córdoba and declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, which functions as a regulator of urban green space, tourism, and community recreation in the very center of the city.

Its strategic location on Provincial Route N.º 5 and Route C-45 allows for direct and fluid connection with key regional corridors, linking the municipality with highly relevant urban and industrial centers such as the City of Córdoba (only 36 km away), Carlos Paz, and the Calamuchita Valley. This connectivity, coupled with its proximity to the main logistical hubs of the province, strengthens its positioning as a strategic territory for residential, commercial, tourist, business, and regional-scale service development.

Alta Gracia consolidates itself as a dynamic city with the highest demographic growth in the region. Its territory is characterized by a deep historical-cultural identity, safeguarded in its world heritage, and a diversified local economy based on tourism, cultural and recreational industries, local commerce, and a constantly expanding service sector, with a commitment to incorporating ventures based on innovation and sustainable development.

The availability of infrastructure and the dynamism of its entrepreneurs generate highly favorable conditions for the development of new business projects linked to value addition, gastronomy, and local identity.

Furthermore, the city has an Industrial, Technological, and Services Park planned for the establishment, expansion, and diversification of companies. This space provides an adequate, safe, and regulated environment for corporate growth, promoting the generation of genuine employment and the attraction of sustainable investments that respect the environmental and heritage surroundings of the region.

The combination of cultural identity, growing infrastructure, interurban regional connectivity, agile logistical access, and a strong entrepreneurial culture positions Alta Gracia as a highly attractive environment for companies focused on service production, innovation, sustainability, and territorial development.
