It is an Argentine town located in the southwest of the province of Chaco, officially recognized as the Capital del Gaucho Chaqueño. Considered the gateway to the southern province and northern Argentina, it has 81 years of history since its official foundation on December 18, 1944.

The city is strategically located and connected through important paved land routes: National Route 95 and Provincial Route 5. Located in the heart of the interprovincial productive border, this location directly connects it with the country's major cargo corridors.
