Pergamino is a city of 115,340 inhabitants, located in the northwest of the province of Buenos Aires, in the heart of Argentina's agro-industrial core zone.
Its proximity to the main urban centers —Autonomous City of Buenos Aires (220 km) and Rosario (114 km)— and to the country's agro-export ports favors the circulation of goods, services, and people, consolidating a strategic location for the development of productive, commercial, and service activities.
Historically linked to Argentine agro-productive and seed leadership, Pergamino has evolved into an ecosystem that integrates production, knowledge, and innovation, strengthening the link between the productive sector, the scientific community, and training institutions.
In this context, the city has three industrial parks with capacity for the expansion and establishment of new companies, in addition to reference institutions such as the INTA Pergamino Agricultural Experimental Station and the National University of the Northwest of Buenos Aires Province (UNNOBA), recognized for their contribution to research, training, and knowledge transfer.

Pergamino has an Industrial Promotion Regime aimed at fostering the establishment, consolidation, expansion, and regularization of productive activities through municipal tax benefits and institutional support tools. The regime includes incentives on local taxes linked to economic activity and construction, and was strengthened by adhering to the Provincial and National Knowledge Economy Promotion Regime, incorporating technology and innovation-intensive activities within the foreseen benefits.
The Pergamino Partido has three industrial parks that form a consolidated environment for the location of productive activities. One of them has its capacity fully occupied, reflecting the sustained demand for industrial land in the city, while the others have availability to support new investment projects. Its strategic location on National Route N.º 8 Highway, together with its proximity to the ports of Greater Rosario and the country's main logistics corridors, strengthens the conditions for the development of industrial, agro-industrial, and service activities.
Pergamino promotes the development of the knowledge economy based on an ecosystem that articulates companies, universities, scientific-technological organizations, and the local government.
